About Scout Arena

Scout Arena helps you make sense of football performances. We use real match data to rate players, compare them and show who's standing out, taking into account the different jobs they do on the pitch.

Why Scout Arena exists

Scout Arena started from a simple question: which footballers are actually performing well right now?

There's plenty of football data out there, but making sense of it can take work. Stats, clips, tables and opinions don't always give you a clear picture. We bring the numbers together so it's easier to see how players compare.

What you'll find here

You can explore season-long ratings, check recent form, compare players, browse club and nation rankings, and see who leads individual stats. The ratings consider how a player performs, their position, the role their stats suggest, their minutes and the strength of the competition.

We'll keep refining the ratings and the site as new match data comes in and we learn where the calculations need work.

How to use the ratings

A rating can give you a reason to take a closer look at a player. Watching matches still matters: a manager's instructions, an injury or a change of role can tell you something the numbers miss. How much data we have matters too.

For a closer look at what goes into a rating, how we handle limited data and where the numbers fall short, read How Ratings Work.

Independence and corrections

Scout Arena is independent. We are not affiliated with EA, FC, FIFA, any club, league or data provider unless we clearly say otherwise.
